Daniel Richau reinforces the executive level of Plan.Net Hamburg: effective immediately, the 44-year-old is responsible for the agency's creative output as creative director. In his new capacity he is furthermore in charge of customers with a digital focus, also inter-agency at House of Communication Hamburg.
Hamburg, April 4th 2016 — New arrival at Plan.Net Hamburg: as creative director, Daniel Richau is responsible for the creative product of the digital agency in the Hanseatic city. The 44-year-old thereby assumes creative supervision of customers with Plan.Net Hamburg, such as the Hamburg airport, Audible or Rügenwalder Mühle. Additionally, he is in charge of further customers with a digital emphasis at the House of Communication Hamburg.
Daniel Richau has been in the agency business for 15 years, most recently as executive creative director and management board member with Pilot in Hamburg. Before that he was, among other things, creative director at Syzygy and Elephant Seven. He worked in these capacities for customers such as Deutsche Post, DTM, Levi's, Red Bull or Mercedes Benz. He was honoured for his efforts with more than 80 national and international creativity prizes – among others the Cannes Cyber Lion as well as citations in the New Media Awards, The One Show or the LIAA. Moreover, he also teaches at the Freie Schule für Gestaltung and the Texterschmiede Hamburg.
Daniel Richau sees great relevance in is close cooperation between creative workers and media planners: "I consider it the model of the future and at Plan.Net this cooperation is a way of life. This is due to the group's strong creative genes, while at the same time they maintain a high standard of media proficiency. For me these are ideal conditions for developing creative campaigns, which through an intimate knowledge of media usage and focus groups will eventually become even more successful, and therefore better."
